Happy Tails Suffolk

I live in Felixstowe Suffolk and have recently resigned from frontline ambulance service to follow my passion & love of all animals. I have over 30 years experience of all types of animals from poultry, parrots, small rodents, cats, dogs and horses. I have successfully shown my own dogs at championship level and competed in competition obedience and agility to a high standard. I have extensive experience in pregnancy, whelping and husbandry. I have competed with my horse and occasionally still do. I am looking forward to my new exciting future.

Being a dog owner myself I understand how important it is for you to find the right person to walk your dog. I'm committed to providing a professional and reliable service and will treat your dog as if it is my own. As well as walking my own dog, I have also been walking dogs on behalf of another dog walking company and also volunteering at a local dog rescue centre. I have attended many dog training classes with Arthur to an Advanced Level and am currently studying for a Level 3 Accredited Canine Behaviour Diploma. My goal is to make your life easier by making sure that your dog enjoys their time with me and is returned home tired and happy

I have over seven years' experience as a professional Assistance Dog UK dog trainer for a local charity, training dogs to successfully guide people with sight loss via positive reinforcement methodology. I spent another 18 months volunteering at puppy classes in Woodley to further my understanding of early years and different breeds of dogs. I am an advocate for the power and research behind using force-free methods for training human's best friends. These techniques show understanding and respect to the animals we expect to fit into and enrich our highly-human lives. Positive reinforcement training teaches stronger behaviours and avoids the unpredictable outcomes that can come from use of punishment, such as growling, biting, and fear

Pathfinder Dog Adventures

Pathfinder Dog Adventures is owned and run by Darren Loftus. Originally from Gloucester, he moved to Bristol in June 2020 with his 2 rescue dogs, Morris & Jenny. Here’s why Darren started Pathfinder Dog Adventures; After working in property for most of my career and experiencing furlough and then redundancy during the pandemic, I decided that from now on I would make doing something I loved my priority in life. Being generally happiest in the company of dogs, I decided to become a dog walker. After working for another dog walking business which I really enjoyed, I decided to go it alone and Pathfinder Dog Adventures was born! I am constantly learning and training and have taken many courses including; Canine first aid, Level 3 in Canine Anxiety, Understanding and Walking Reactive Dogs
