The Association of Professional Dog Walkers and Sitters aim is to promote good standards in the industry and to help our members do what they do best. APDWS™ believe that as an industry dog walking and sitting is still booming despite the challenges facing other industries in these uncertain times. We are here to help support and nurture new and existing businesses throughout the UK.
The Association of Professional Dog Walkers and sitters™ was started by a small group of likeminded dog walkers, who believed they were underrepresented as professional dog walkers and sitters. Because we came from a dog walking background, we have been able to tailor the association around our members. Since our inception we have continued to expand by giving our members what they need at a low cost point.

Release of our new Android™ App
The release of our new Android™ dog walking app is now available and can be found in the members area. Please read instructions for installing on your Android™ mobile phone. This app is free for all our members to use and is not available for non members.
Corona virus update™
Most restrictions are now being lifted with regard to the Corona virus, we would still advise you take precautions especially around older clients. The wearing of masks would be a sensible precaution as would be regular hand washing and using your own dog leads rather than your clients.
Work on our IOS™ app should begin in November 2021
Development of our new IOS™ dog wallking app will begin in early November and we are hopeful that we will have a fully working version by the end of April 2022.
