At Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters™ we aim to be the leading organisation for all those in the dog walking industry and we will do this and more. We are and always will be a free source of help, advice and guidance. We offer free access to our forum if you are a member you can also comment and post on the forum.
Our mission
The Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters™ mission is to help support all those involved in the pet care industry and to offer a pool of resources and a voice in what is a relatively new and fast growing service sector.
We aim to provide an industry standard for our service sector and therefore help our members and in turn their customers understand what they can expect from us.
It has to be said that most people that are in the dog walking industry, are there due to their love of dogs and that in itself means we attract some of the very best in this service sector.Here at Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters™ we want to tap into this rich resource and use that to improve what we do and help those coming into our industry.
Promoting good practice in the dog walking and sitting industry
The Association of Professional Dog Walkers and Sitters aim is to promote good standards in the industry and to help our members to be the best at what they do. APDWS™ believe that as an expanding industry and new businesses starting up all over the country, we as an association should reach out and try and nurture these new businesses while at the same time keeping industry standards high.
The Association of Professional Dog Walkers and sitters™ was started by a small group of likeminded dog walkers, who believed they were underrepresented as professional dog walkers and sitters. Because we came from a dog walking background, we have been able to tailor the association to our requirements. Since our inception we have continued to expand by giving our members what they need at a low cost point.

APDWS™ has now released the Android™ version of our dog walking tracker app and is available to download in the members area, IOS™ version is currently under development.
